![]() ![]() Giant is slow, you should always go first and kill his companions before he moves. Bring a high-Speed/high ACC party to the Weald. Which makes the Leper a bad choice for the Weald (I often bring him anyway cause I really like him, but I know I'm putting my party at risk and I have a lot of hours of experience). Sometimes they don't do that even on the 2nd Round. Giants don't usually use Treebranch Smackdown on the 1st Round. ![]() Leper can increase his PROT to tank more incoming Damage. Debuff his Damage (many heroes can do that: Occultist, Vestal, Leper) Guard your frontlines (MaA is a great choice for the Weald) Stun-lock him (quite possible with a PD/HM in the party) There's always something you could've done. I made a mistake so I'll learn from said mistake. If it was a mistake I made, I'd live with it. Originally posted by Kaeden:There was literally NOTHING I could have done to save him from that. I've put up with a lot of ♥♥♥♥ from this game, but this is the final turd that will unbalance the gigantic pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. ![]() But when this sort of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rng insta-kill ♥♥♥♥ happens, I'm not having any of it. There was literally NOTHING I could have done to save him from that. Brought to Death's Door in one hit by the giant, and then killed by his buddy who had his turn right after. An 80 damage crit and deathblow on the attack right after, he was buffed to ♥♥♥♥ with resistances, had pretty much the highest hp possible in this game, and was still killed in 2 turns. And I do have plenty of other heroes, I've got about 10 other legends of almost every class, but I don't want to spend about 5 hours building up a new leper, especially since I've grown attached to the last one, and I lost him because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RNG rather than real difficulty. And I've beaten every Dark Souls game over 10 times, Including Fume Knight Raime on NG-9 with a broken ladle. I don't really care how much it means or doesn't mean, but losing a hero I've been building up for over 3 months (I don't play the game very often, maybe twice a week for 2 or 3 dungeons) is most definitely NOT fun for me.
